Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It is the thirteenth primary installment in the Call of Duty series and was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November 2016, and later for Microsoft Windows in November 2016. The game is set in the distant future, where humanity has colonized space and engaged in a war with a hostile alien force known as the Settlement Defense Front.
The game features a single-player campaign, in which players take on the role of Captain Nick Reyes of the Special Combat Air Recon (SCAR) team, and engage in various combat missions to help stop the Settlement Defense Front. The game also features a multiplayer mode that includes a variety of game modes, weapons, and maps. With the release of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on PS5 it features new features such as increased loading speeds, 4K and HDR support, ray tracing and high frame rates.
It also includes a remastered version of the classic Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game and its story campaign, which offers players a chance to experience the legacy of the iconic game.
